You can still also visit Julia Chu's La Muse at 1156 Nuuanu Avenue to shop for clothing, jewelry, and prints. Nothing like seeing the prints up close and in person . . . . . and please take my business card from Monkey George. He seems to have taken a special liking to "Yellow Plumeria."

I just had the pleasure of meeting Mark Ariyoshi at his store "Stand Up Eight." Starting this weekend, Mark will be offering my prints for sale in his handcrafted furniture and accessories gallery. Definitely worth checking out Mark's restored pieces as well as other beautifully handcrafted tables made by local Hawaii craftsmen. Stand Up Eight definitely showcases local artisans in the true sense of that word. . . . . . and while you're shopping for that great one of a kind piece for the living room, feel free to pick up something for your walls :)
Stand Up Eight is located at 1113 South King Street, Honolulu HI 96814 at the corner of King Street and Pensacola between Bac Nam Restaurant and the House of Photography. Tel: 808.593.4414 Standupeightfurniture.com Prints continue to be available at Julia Chu's store "La Muse" in Chinatown as well. A great big thank you to Julia Chu , owner of La Muse, for allowing us to to take over her store for the First Friday Pop-up gallery on September 6th. . . . . and thank you to everyone that came out in support to view the work ! La Muse will continue to sell the prints over the next month. Please come by La Muse at 1156 Nuuanu Avenue in Chinatown if you missed the event to see the work in person . . . . . or come back again for a second look.
Thank you to Terri Inefuku at Lei Chic and Brie Thalmann at Honolulu Magazine for adding the September 6th show at Julia Chu's La Muse to the Weekend Picks / Guide to First Friday !! Looking forward to a great evening and hope to see everyone there.
